Move Digital Circus Finale YouTube Release Date Up to June 4th, 2026

Move Digital Circus Finale YouTube Release Date Up to June 4th, 2026
The Issue
This might be a bit of a goofy petition but it matters to me.
The Amazing Digital Circus is an Indie animated series, created by Glitch Productions and Gooseworx, adored by millions of fans all around the globe. It's personally my favorite show (and I'm sure countless others can relate), thanks to its captivating storytelling and exciting plot twists.
The series is about to come to a close, with the finale (Episode 9) releasing on Netflix and YouTube (the same as it has with previous episodes) on June 19th. For the first time, however, the episode will premiere in theaters 2 weeks earlier. This, at first, seems exciting - an indie show in theaters is a huge achievement, and what's more fun than watching your favorite thing in a theater? But, of course, it comes at a cost - the folks who do attend the theater will likely post spoilers all over social media. As seen with past episodes, the moment the episode comes out, sites like YouTube and Reddit are instantly blasted with tons of "did you notice this" and "new episode theory" posts.
With the show releasing in theaters a full two weeks before the YouTube release, those who watch the show in theaters will certainly spoil everything for those looking to view at home. Many fans cannot afford tickets or don't have a participating theater near them. Not to mention that many teenage fans may not be allowed to go to to theaters. Most people, even excited fans, cannot be expected to abandon social media for 2 whole weeks to avoid spoilers. Seeing spoilers is the opposite of enjoyable - watching the actual thing firsthand is.
So, I'm politely asking Glitch to consider moving the YouTube upload date of Episode 9 to the same day (or a day after) the theater release. This will allow fans to have the choice of NOT being spoiled early. This way, they can enjoy the show the same as the theater-attending ones. This is the finale of a crazy, wonderful show that took the world by storm, so we all deserve to see it without fearing it being completely spoiled.
Please consider signing if you're a fan of the Digital Circus! Thanks!
