Hi, my name is Dayna Carrillo. I have 2 small aged children under the age of 5. I purchased my home in the New Haven community in 2018 with the promise of an elementary school to be built in the New Haven community. Many new families have also been sold on these predictions. It’s 2020 and now the Mountain View School District has pulled from their plans to built the school. New constructions of homes are still being built and more and more new and young families are moving to the community. The area of Ontario Ranch is expanding and soon there will be an over flow of children needing to attend school. If our elementary school is not built in our community we will be forced to ship our children to other schools further out into other near by cities and cause an over flow in classroom sizes. By signing my petition I am hoping to show our demand for the elementary school that was promised to us. Mountain View District shouldn’t be allowed to pull back on their plans on the 11th hour causing these delays. The land that was predicted to become a school is now being considered for even more homes. I as well as many residents are outraged that this is happening!
