Support to have the Mount Pleasant High School Softball field dedicated to Cathi Brown, the head coach that led the way in 1992 in light of Title IX for the high school to have a girls softball team. Additionally she has been the only coach to lead the team to state playoffs having been the head coach of the 1993 State Quarterfinalists - The first ever UIL State playoffs. Without the support and drive of Cathi Brown it could’ve been years later before the high school would’ve had a softball team…She took the school to the playoffs the first two years of its inception and paved the way for Lady Tigers.
