I think In the uk motorbike licenses and the age requirements are quite awful. Many children from 12+ are led into depression because of the fact they have to wait 4-5 years just to ride a ridiculously slow 125cc. Many don’t mind it but alot would like better. In the United states 16 year olds are aloud 1000cc. And they are fine? Yes the uk can do better. It’s not the bikers it’s the people around them. And I think u can add training about that. To learn them on how to look around them before going and how to handle situations. Because it’s not okay seriously. There is no difference with cars aswell. You can go out there getting hell of alot faster cars than motorbikes at such a young age. Its simply not fair on bikers and people who want to start doing it. I think we need to take it quite seriously. Their complaints everywhere about this 125cc at the age of 16-17. Because it’s not fun at all. Fast or slow. U can still get hit by a car from the back and fly of ur motorbike if ur not fast enough. What if a car comes speeding towards you and you have a slow motorbike. Having a fast motorbike can save you. What if there’s people chasing you with weapons just to steal ur motorbike. A 125cc isn’t gonna save you if it’s slow. Many people on platforms are genuinely sad about it. I think we need to start looking at the United States motorcycle industry. Because it’s terrible in the UK. Because regardless of how fast it goes. Training exists and if they wanna get a 1000cc sooner. U can train them. Even 600ccs. Many wanna start on them, but the age is bad. Please sort out the bike license. Your complaining about how people are riding around illegally on 600cc+ motorbikes but there’s ur answer. Because the age. Most people don’t even do the cbt because there’s no point if u have to wait till ur 20s to get a fast motorbike. People get bullied because of having slow motorbikes and all these mopeds. It’s not okay. Some people kill themselves because of worrying themselves an overthinking into waiting years. Seeing people on motorbikes drive past everyday upsets people. And I genuinly feel like it’s not fair.
