The van driving community would like suitable parking for vans and light goods vehicles in service stations in the UK. In most parking areas there are provisions for HGV's, coaches, caravans and cars. According to Motorparc data from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), over 4 million vans are in use on UK roads. 

Designated parking for vans would create suitably sized bays without the need to park over two car bays or ostruct large vehicles. 

I wouldn't expect an immediate change but can be taken into account when carparks are resurfaced or painted.
