Food in the UK is grown by using one of the methods below: 

1.   Most food is grown using chemical fertilisers. 

2.   Many organic farms use animal manure and  slaughterhouse by-products such as fish, bone and hoof meal.  

3.    The Vegan Organic / Stockfree Organic method uses only plant based fertilisers, green manures and vegetable composts. 

We the undersigned urge the UK Food Standards Agency to develop a labelling system which discloses the farming method used for fruit and vegetables.
