Time to mobilize! The destruction of our precious wetlands, waterways and environment is irrelevant to Tweed/Avports. This is all about money and NOT about the residents, wildlife and environment!
We need to demand that the public will be included in the Permit Application process for the following:

Notice is hereby given that the Tweed
New Haven Airport Authority (the"applicant") of 155 Burr Street,
New Haven, CT 06512 and The
New HVN LLC (co-applicant) of 45025 Aviation Drive, Suite 100, Dulles, VA 20166 will submit to the Department of Energy & Environmental Protection an application under Connecticut General Statutes Section(s):22a-32; 22a-361 and Section 401 of the Federal Clean Water Act, 33 U.S.C. 1341. Specifically, the applicants propose the extension of Runway 02-20, drainage improvements and the replacement of the existing West Terminal with a new terminal ("East Terminal") on previously disturbed land on the east side of the Airport property. Additional elements associated with the East Terminal include associated roadways, parking lots, aprons and taxiways on airport property. The proposed activity will take place at the Tweed New Haven Regional Airport,
155 Burr Street,
New Haven, CT 06512.
The proposed activity will potentially affect: Morris Creek, Tuttle Brook and associated inland and tidal wetlands.
