What I would like to achieve is to ban No-knock warrants form West Virginia. The first step starts in Morgantown. This means getting this petition to city council and then to County commission. After that it would go to state legislate. My final goal is to get this to Governor Jim Justice. If a case is dangerous enough that it needs to done with stealth and expediency ( the supposed reason for no knocks), it needs to be handled by federal authorities who have the training and expertise to perform such a task successfully and without harm. State and local police do not have the skills necessary to carry out a delicate operation. Because state and local police in West Virginia have carried out no knock warrants citizens have died.
