Please sign this petition to support long-overdue updates to Morgan County and Martinsville City Animal Ordinances.

These ordinance updates DO NOT affect current laws in place for livestock.

The proposed updates will bring Morgan County and Martinsville in line with those of our surrounding counties by offering protections from cruelty and neglect for companion animals. Experts are well aware that violence and neglect towards animals is connected to violence against humans.  In supporting these ordinance updates you are taking a firm stance against all criminal activity and letting our elected officials know that this is an important issue for our citizens.
