There is high traffic proximity in the South Loop area. Traffic proximity means cars build up in one area and pollute the air, leading to worsened climate change. My friend and I are planning to lessen this traffic proximity in South Loop. We are planning to do this by getting enough signatures, to make people like our alderman and state representatives build a parking lot that is free to the citizens of the Chicago area. By making more parking lots that are free to us in the South Loop there should be less cars trying to find parking and causing traffic.
