The development of 5 dwellings on the corner of Melissa Street and Loch Crescent Strathmore;

• Will increase traffic congestion especially at peak times
• Reduce availability of on street parking forcing cars to park in adjoining streets
• Will increase the potential for pedestrian related accidents
• Are not in keeping with the area. There are no developments on a similar footprint of land that have 5 dwellings
• If approved, a precedent will be created that over time could mean 5 dwellings on every corner block changing the character of the area
• The direct impact on adjoining properties will be reduced privacy, increased noise and increased risk of driveway related accidents 
• Will increase the burden on schools which are already at peak capacity
