Ed Carberry is the most successful head football coach in Monte Vista High School history.

With over 100 career victories that includes 2 CIF CHAMPIONSHIPS and 7 LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIPS, Coach Carberry taught more than football to his charges. He gave them valuable tools for conducting themselves as young men and life lessons that would serve them long after their days on the gridiron passed.

A leader of young men, Coach saw his players find success in all aspects of society. MONARCH football alumni have moved on as members of our Armed Services, business leaders, doctors, dentists, lawyers, police officers, firefighters, first responders, teachers, mechanics, singer/songwriters...you get the picture. 

As a sign of thanks and undying respect, we are seeking to have the football field where Coach stalked the sidelines to be named in his honor.
