We all hoped that the weapon designs would be overhauled for Iceborne but a lot of weapons received the bone/steel treatment where the weapon design is just an unispired piece of bone with some monster parts. This has to be a design choice since some of it appears in the concept art of the game.

The game is fantastic but this choice is straigth up bad, like why? you have a flying dinosaur dropping bombs, you can't really say that those designs are grounded in realism, can you?

The designs have already been made for older games so it's not a problem with having to come up with new ideas for them. It doesn't make sense to selectively make some weapons look awful while others are restored to the old glory days. I would understand the new weapons for new monsters but still... it's just lazy and a bad job. The mods in the pc comunity have done a better job with these than the actual MHW team.

I doubt a signed petition would make a difference but i also belief that at least we can show that the comunity as a whole disliked this weapon designs and that we want the old ones.
