This petition is to hold Monmouth College accountable for kicking a student off campus for using her freedom of speech to call out the racism, homophobia, and sexual assault occurring on campus. Monmouth College has failed to hold students accountable for sexual assaults and rape. The college has allowed students to harass others, yet when DesHja decided to speak out about these racial transgressions on her own personal social media page she was told she had 48 hours to leave campus. DesHja does not have a home to go to and is not likely to find somewhere to stay during a pandemic. DesHja was simply exercising her right to free speech and is now being punished for standing up for her fellow students of color.
