This is a petition to reinstate the "Diamond Dust" feature into Minecraft Dungeons. This spin-off game was released by Mojang Studios about a month ago and has several new updates planned soon. One of the features that was discovered pre-release and was even published by Mojang was "Diamond Dust", an item sold by the "Mason" NPC which would allow the player to upgrade the level of an item. Not being able to upgrade items has been a huge drag in gameplay for myself and thousands of other players, a problem which this planned feature would have fixed. This Twitter thread (in the comments ) includes confirmation by Mojang that the feature has been scrapped because it was "not very fun" in testing. This doesn't really validate removing a feature that literally everyone in the major community platforms was begging for, not to mention that it had been confirmed as a feature to be added on more than one occasion. Please sign this petition so we can show Mojang how much we want this feature to become a reality and improve a great game that, as it stands, lacks significant end game content.
