Minecraft Bedrock recently released their newest update, 1.17, which is the first half of their “Caves and Cliffs” update. In this newest development, they have introduced axolotls: a cute, friendly water animal. They are predators to fish, but they are very friendly water pets. If there is a hostile water mob in the water, axolotls will even attack them. Axolotls do not drop anything if killed, as they are meant to spread awareness for the endangerment of real life wild axolotls. They are fully meant to live.
   You can collect an axolotl in a bucket, which will keep the axolotl from despawning if you decide to release it in a habitat as your pet, much like taming them. If you keep the axolotl in the bucket, however, and put it in the “fuel slot” of the furnace, it can be used as fuel to smelt things. Axolotls are friends, not fuel, and you should not have the ability to use an axolotl as fuel for your furnace. Mostly, we can agree that axolotls are cute and friendly, and we would all use other sources of fuel that are more efficient, such as kelp or lava. However, some people might still choose to use our poor friends as fuel. This feature needs to be removed from the game immediately.
