Recently, Curseforge (Now owned by Overwolf) Has decided they wish to do away with third-party launchers for Modded Minecraft. This means that users will have to utilize their launcher and their launcher alone if they want to utilize the Curseforge API.

Many developers invest tons of man-hours into their projects, and Overwolf is basically telling them to go away without pursuing legal action. If Overwolf has their way, many projects will have to shut down.

If you enjoy Modded Minecraft and the convenience that Third-Party launchers bring, I would encourage you to continue reading below, because Overwolf wants to take it away from you.

Modded Minecraft's community is driven by people who strive to innovate. If we let this happen without raising our opinions, then Overwolf will have sole control over how people manage their modded content, modders included.
