The community desperately needs mobile reception and internet.  The box should be about 2 feet square and will not impact the environment.  The town is a known black spot with little or no signal.

Currently the landline is broken every two weeks by 4 wheel drives damaging the underground Telstra cables, which is under the power lines coming into the town.  Therefore, the town has no landline, which is no internet or telephone service.  This takes up to two weeks to be repaired, and the equipment is antiquated and parts are becoming harder to get.

Without any communication in or out, no emergency services can be contacted at all.
