We are looking to get Rent Stabilization Ordinance (RSO) in place  for Mobil homes in Torrance Ca. This  will ensure no more than a 3% raise annually to help stabilize the cost of living at a reasonable price to avoid pushing families out of their homes.

The 55+ parks are getting hit with high rent increases.  Their pensions/ SSI don’t increase overtime. People are having to chose medications, food or rent. We can’t allow this. 
What will happen when rent goes to high? Homelessness!  

Mobile home residents in Torrance Ca have had their rent increased so much it is making it very hard on us. We are working people just trying to survive.

Mobile homes are being bought out by investors and they are raising the rents so high people are losing their homes and are ending up homeless.

Fanny Mae is giving these investors loans and using the income on each mobile home as gross income so the higher the rent the higher the loan Fanny Mae gives to the investors. Mean while people are being kicked out of their homes.
