Duma Koyana popularly know as Dzu or TaDzu was a community builder through fooball who produced many young football players who turned professional. Developing raw talent was very close to his heart. To name few amongst many, the Manager of TS Galaxy and its goalkeeper that beat Kaiser Chiefs in one final; Hlela Kompela, Lungelo Mbambalala, Boyz Sotyato( Umtata Bucks), Bongile Mpambani( Jomo Cosmos) were his products from a very young age. The list is endless.
He played for Butterworth Rangers and Blackburn Rovers and after his playing days he started coaching with Rangers later coached Blackburn Rovers when it was still playing in the National First Division then called Second Division, Coastal stream.
He also coached Eastern Cape Technikon team that was managed by bra Ace, Banzi Siyongwana. In 2005 he won provincial SASSU GAMES and in the same year he won National SASSU GAMES coaching Eastern Cape team.

Was born in Cuba township but later his family relocated to Msobomvu township.
He was one of best coaches in School Sport, very much loved by all his players.

He led young people during the era of SAYCO, was a very disciplined cadre, an epitome of a true revolutionary. It is this onus that we have to create positive role models for our communities.
