Baseball is a highly superstitious game. I think all of us know the general rule to NEVER talk about no hitters or perfect games while they are happening. It is bad luck. Almost every week and sometimes multiple times a week I get ESPN notifications saying there is a Major League pitcher with a no hitter or perfect game before the game is completed. Within the time of the notification and the completion of the game, the no hitter or perfect game is broken up. When ESPN sends out these notifications it jinxes the pitcher. I’m sure baseball fans will appreciate the change. It is much needed.
