Mitt Romney has avoided transparency regarding his financial history, steadfastly denying requests to view his tax returns despite mounting pressure from both sides and repeated claims that he hasn't paid any taxes for years.

On top of this shady behavior, he has now made a joke about Obama's birth certificate, joining the ranks of the Birther movement, a group of racially motivated white people trying to discredit our President despite multiple publicly available copies of it, and archived Hawaiian newspapers on microfilm in the Library of Congress confirming the details of our President's birth.

No more.

We must stand up to him and demand transparency. Barack Obama, Sarah Palin, John McCain, George W. Bush, John Kerry, Dan Quayle, Al Gore, George H.W. Bush, etc. have all released over a decade of tax records when they ran for office. What's Romney got hidden? As for his Birther comment, I say we demand to see HIS birth certificate. Long form. Make him prove HE'S an American citizen and that he pays his taxes.
