The Issue
Factory Workers should have the right to say no to overtime mandates, when empoyees we're hired for and fulfilled the set amount of normal scheduled requiered work schedule hours. Mandated overtime is used to fire empoyees on the basis of not being able to work the mandated overtime even if they worked their set schedule. If Employers are behind or have more orders than can be fulfilled on a normal work schedule it's the issue of the company not the employee it should only be on a voluntary basis that Employees are ask to work more hours outside their normal set work schedule. When a employer hires an employee on a set fourty hour work schedule, Employees should have the right to say no to more hours beyond the set agreed upon employeement normal work schedule without the fear of punishment or loss of employment.
