htThe rock quarry across the road from our local cemetery is currently working on expanding to all surrounding sides of our cemetery! The blast from its current location across the road is already causing damages to our markers, land, and fencing. They are trying to hurry to get things done while people have "stay at home orders" in hopes to be progressed far enough to not be stopped. We have fought this once 12 years ago and got it stopped but now the owners of the quarry have decided to continue with their expansion. We believe the cemetery is on the national historical registration, we also have multiple war hero's laid to their final rest at the Henry cemetery, including civil war veterans. we are hoping to get enough signatures to save this piece of history for good!
