The Issue

  • My friend Jason Stufflebean has been incarcerated for 9 years for a non violent drug case for attempt to manufacture he was given 20 years with no parole since his incarceration he has completed pathways to change twice, inside out dad's grief and loss, houses of healing ictc, icv, long term treatment at the top of his class. He's been a mentor to several first time offenders and has made several significant changes in his thoughts attitudes and actions. He strives to be a productive citizen in society and helps others with legal work and is considered a jailhouse lawyer. He wishes to get out and pursue a degree in paralegal courses. He has 6 children who are impacted and miss him dearly. 4 grandchildren whom he never met.  He was found guilty of a class b felony on Dec 16th 2016 and was found to be a prior and persistent drug aoffender and could no longer be given the no parole. stipulation but was sentenced on Jan 26th 2017 and the courts still gave him the non parolable stipulation it is unfair and unequal to give someone the same parole for the same crime and give someone else no parole because it was 26 days later. We are asking for your signature on this petition to move the governor to give him the possibility for parole and set him free. He has lost enough and 9 years on a non violent drug case is plenty of time for a person to understand what they did was wrong. The assessment report by the board of probation and parole said the average said the average sentence for Jason's crime in Missouri with the same history and elements is 9 years the courts overlooked that. Please set my fiance,  brother, our friend, our uncle,  our cousin,  our dad, and our grandpa free and give him 1 more chance to be an upstanding citizen of society.  Thank you everyone who takes the time to read and sign this petition!
