On April 30, 2014, Adam Butch Banks was arrested on a misdemeanor charge. He was taken to the Butler County Jail. In Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He never made it out alive. By 1 pm on May 1st, he was declared deadly suicide. Since that ruling, evidence has come out that Adam's death was not a suicide. Upon viewing this evidence. The medical examiner changed the cause of Adam's death from suicide to undetermined. 7 years later, no additional investigations have taken place. Adam's death was 1 of at least 5 suspicious deaths at the Butler County Jail in the last 9 years. Adam is survived by his loving parents, his sister, and his brother.
