Change to a 20 fish daily limit per person on Lake Washington and over 12 inch minimum.

The Issue

Lake Washington is ranked the 2nd Best Crappie Lake in the United States by Wired2Fish Magazine. The lake is approximately 5000 acres and with it's trophy crappie reputation it receives heavy fishing pressure from in-state and out-of-state fishermen. Currently fishermen are allowed to keep 30 crappie per day with 10 crappie under 10 inches. We've seen the quality and number of crappie decline drastically during the past 5 years. Unless the creel limit and minimum size limits are changed, this lake will suffer. We would also like to see the use of YoYo's prohibited on this lake during the crappie spawn (January - April).
