Students at RUSVM are suffering academic, emotional, physical, and financial harm due to a pattern of misconduct, legal violations, and deliberate negligence by administration. Behind the institution’s polished marketing is a reality of student endangerment, discrimination, and suppression.

 

- Students with disabilities have been denied federally protected accommodations, jeopardizing their health and academic success.

- Faculty absences, curriculum disorganization, and poor academic support have left students scrambling to pass.

- Misleading claims about on-campus medical care have resulted in dangerous medical crises without access to adequate treatment.

- Students have been forced to take exams during a Category 2 hurricane, highlighting a blatant disregard for student safety.

- Wrongful dismissals and selective favoritism in academic policies have destroyed careers while some students are quietly granted special treatment.

- Students are drowning in student loan debt, misled by false promises and predatory recruitment.

⚠️  WHAT’S AT STAKE?

 

This is not an isolated incident. RUSVM’s misconduct is systemic, repeated, and emboldened by a lack of oversight.

 

✅ Violation of U.S. federal laws: ADA, Rehabilitation Act, Higher Education Act  

✅ Violation of St. Kitts law: Education Act, Public Health Act, National Disaster Management Act  

❌ Misrepresentation of medical services and student protections  

❌ Withholding of federal FAFSA disbursements  

❌ Biased appeals processes that deny students justice  

❌ Favoritism, academic discrimination, and verbal abuse from faculty and administration  

❌ FERPA breaches: student information shared without consent  

❌ Unfair dismissals based on discriminatory enforcement of policies

📚 BORROWER DEFENSE & FEDERAL LEGAL ACTION

 

- In 2018 and 2022, the U.S. Department of Education ruled against RUSVM’s parent company, Adtalem Global Education, for fraudulent misrepresentation and predatory recruitment — awarding over $5.8 billion in federal student loan relief.

- RUSVM has continued to operate under the same deceptive practices, violating federal Borrower Defense standards while collecting U.S. taxpayer funds.

- Despite these rulings, students today continue to suffer the same harm — proof that no meaningful reform has occurred.

- March 25, 2025 marks RUSVM’s AVMA accreditation renewal — the only opportunity for regulatory review in the next seven years.

1. An independent federal investigation into RUSVM and Adtalem’s ongoing legal violations  

2. Immediate intervention from the AVMA and Department of Education to reassess accreditation  

3. Reinstatement of students wrongfully dismissed due to lack of accommodations, retaliation, or discriminatory practices  

4. Financial restitution and debt relief for students who suffered harm under false pretenses  

5. Legal reform to prevent for-profit, foreign-based institutions from exploiting jurisdictional loopholes
