______

A man called "Nour El-Deen" committed suicide by jumping from the third floor at Teleperformance due to inhumane work conditions, management's abuse, and manipulating financial records, and more.

Nour El-Deen allegedly had 4 days deducted from his salary and was given a warning for taking "many restroom breaks" due to a health condition he suffered. He was treated poorly by his supervisor, who was allegedly instructed to push Nour El-Deen to submit his resignation.

Nour El-Deen had to put up with his superiors' unprofessionalism, rudeness, and not understanding his human needs until February (when Teleperformance agents receive their annual profit share), but despite trying to bite the bullet and move on, the same supervisor fired him; meaning he didn't only lose his job, but the annual bonus he worked 10 months of the year for.

Should you believe the story above as a trusted source?
No, nor are we asking you to. This is 100% based on what current employees witnessed and we do not encourage you to take this as a trusted source of information.

Why did we tell the story then?
Since Teleperformance didn't post a single social media post anywhere; even sending his family good thoughts or vowing an investigation, and everything was covered up; we gathered opinions from several witnesses. We do not believe everything mentioned above was true, nor are we asking you to believe so.

What do we demand?
We want the Egyptian Government and the Ministry of Trade and Industry to start a detailed investigation into everything that takes place in all Teleperformance premises based in Egypt. We want inhumane conditions, violating and manipulating Egyptian labor laws, workplace sexual harassment, and inner-circle promotions to be thoroughly investigated. We also demand that the entire management that swept the unfortunate incident of Nour El-Deen's suicide and the mistreatment he had gone through under the rug be brought to justice and get investigated; on a judiciary and professional level.

How can you help if you're not in Egypt?
Send this petition to Teleperformance where you live (if they have a branch) and ask them what's their stance on what happens in other branches? Make sure they know what's happening here and that they aren't following the same steps.

Share your story!
Feel free to share your story if you've gone through a similar experience(s), in English and Arabic, if possible. Do not mention employees' full names to avoid defamation. Instead, use specifics such as when it happened, in which department, which account, etc...
