1. Ministry of Railways must have and follow honking guidelines. while checking through RTI Ministry could reply on maximum sound intensity allowed is 120-125 DB however, the same in one of the railway crossings is not measured/not known. (for example sade satra nalli crossing, hadapsar, pune, maharashtra 411028.)

2. The other major health and safety guidelines are not known to Railway Ministry of India. like how many times honking is allowed, duration of honking, honking at night times, how railway ensure the safety guidelines, etc. are not available. That means there is no guidelines prescribed and that is reason not being followed.

It is humble request to have such guidelines, being published, sensitize the pilots about the same and follow stringently.
