Itanagar wild life sanctuary was notified in the year 1978 to preserve the endangered wildlife and biodiversity. But due to lake of coordination and negligence of the forest official of the State Forest Department, the  90 percent of the sanctuary is  completely encroached. Its very sad to inform that Itanagar , the capital city of the State of Arunachal Pradesh is located in the very heart of the  Sanctuary.  The government of Arunachal Pradesh  is not paying any heeds on my repeated representation. The  District Administration of the past and the present  has issued land allotment to the lakh of People in the sanctuary. Now the eviction of those local residents are not possible because many big structures has been  constructed.  Even the Governmental Institution has been established.  The  Wildlife Warden office just sitting like a robot and just drawing salary.  Now the Wildlife sanctuary become human life sanctuary.  Once it was the home for Elephant, Tiger, hollockgibbon, Barking Deer and Hornbills and etc. But now numbers decreased rapidly. Some portion of the Itanagar Wildlife Sanctuary  is still remain untouched but its also verge of occupation or might have been occupied. Hence I would like to request everyone to sign petition so that it may reach out to the authorities for immediate boundary rationalisation
