Our manuscripts bridge our glorious past to our present & future generations. 

Had our ancestors not taken the efforts to preserve them, today we would not have the luxury and previlege to know and study them.

One such manuscript inscripted on the palm leaves is Arthashastra by Kautilya( Chanakya) which is not only recognised in India for its treatise on economic policy, politics, military strategy and statescraft, but worldwide.

Unfortuantey, we could loose it forever!

The condition of the manuscript is detoriating with months and years due to negligence on part of Oriental Research Institue in Mysuru.

It is our utmost duty to preserve our ancient texts so as to make them available to the future generations.

Our manuscripts are our pride and origin!

Let us urge the Minsitry of Culture and National Mission for Manuscripts to immediately take necessary steps to restore the texts and house them in well funded institutes which are eqquipped with Air conditioners and Dehumidifiers for thier preservance.
