Everyone understands the importance of few seconds, minutes, hours at the time of medical emergency, we need not be an doctor to know the emergency situation but if we are a kindhearted and having an humanitarian care on our fellow beings, you can save a life by just moving to your leftside of the road while driving and giving way to the ambulance in the right thereby they reach the respective hospitals at right time. Keep left and give way in the right 

We have often heard the ambulance sounds amidst the heavy traffic road, whenever I heard that sound I personally feel the person inside the ambulance is saying "Save me Save me Please..... "

First thing that needs to be done is in the traffic signals there should be an symbol or a color Light (other than this red,yellow and green)  to convey the ambulance is on the way in that road  so those who drive they will move to their left giving way to the ambulance in the right side of the road. 

The respective traffic personnel in that road should be informed about the start place and time of the ambulance and the destination, there should be an centralized contact number to contact to know the status of road (to have a better coordination between the ambulance personnel and the traffic personnel till the ambulance reach its destination place) The traffic police can use the ambulance symbol placard to make the vehicle to move to it's left and giving way to the ambulance in the right (till the color Light for ambulance is installed in the traffic signals)
