One has to wonder, if AHAR has nothing to hide, then why are they not welcoming an investigation? Despite their claims to the contrary that all is well - AHAR complaints against the two RTÉ exposés were not uphelded by BAI - an independent body. One of the many issues highlighted was the repeated Code Red scam which even has AHAR - on film - inadvertently ADMITTING to lying and creating FAKE 'rescues'. This deception goes against the legal statute book as well as against CRA rules for a charity. We have first hand accounts of abuse witnessed not only at AHAR's present location at Crag but also at previous AHAR locations. We have audios of threats made by the AHAR founder and current Manager - woe betide anyone who crosses them. We have ex-volunteers who are still traumatised by their time at AHAR, many years later. These stories can be read in the petition updates. You have to be at AHAR for a while, working day in and out, for the mask to slip and true realities of AHAR to be revealed. For those who may be unaware - AHAR, Crag, Castleisland is in a remote location and are only open to the public on a Saturday afternoon. Finally, we have an AHAR admin - who has never been to AHAR - staunchly defending them on the petition with no evidence to refute what has been presented - just their say so. This same admin has no issue that AHAR DECEIVED and LIED about the CODE RED 'live rescues'. Fake facebook profiles created in an attempt to undermine what has been said and distract from the issues at hand - twisting what has been written.
