A Symposium about Pre-marital Sex and Early Pregnancy

•       “Millennials”, the term itself carries the change, a change in generation and change of people in its generation. HOWS THE YOUTH OF GENERATION Z? Nowadays, the issue of Pre-marital sex and early pregnancy is very controversial.

 

WHAT IS PMS AND EP?

•       PRE- MARITAL SEX is…sexual activity practiced by people before they are married.

•       EARLY PREGNANCY… AKA TEENAGE PREGNANCY…Teenage pregnancy is defined as a teenage girl, usually within the ages of 13-19, becoming pregnant. The term in everyday speech usually refers to girls who have not reached legal adulthood, which varies across the world, who become pregnant.

 

What does Bible tells us about PMS?

•       Hebrews 13:4 New International Version (NIV)

     4 Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.

•       Galatians 5:19-22 New International Version (NIV)

  19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

 

What is Love Explosion?

•       Love Explosion is a school based symposium that deals with Pre-marital sex and Early pregnancy.

•       Love Explosion aims to give awareness to the young adults, specially those who engage in a romantic relationship that they should not engage in such thing as PMS because it can lead to Early parenthood that might hinder the beautiful future ahead of them.

•       Love explosion seeks to be the eye opener of students residing at Sillawit National High School that as a youth of their community to make them realize that  they have responsibility in their society.

THE PURPOSE OF LOVE EXPLOSION

Love Explosion main intent is to lower the cases of teenage pregnancy specially in Barangay Sillawit, Cauayan City, Isabela.

•       To serve as an eye opener to students who engage in romantic relationship.

•       To spread awareness among young adults regarding Pre-marital sex and early pregnancy.

•       To establish strong foundation to the youth of generation z who are about to face their real obligation in our community.

•       To literate them more about the real problem of our community.

•       To eliminate discrimination in our generation.

 

The Making of Love Explosion

•       The Symposium will be presented to Sillawit National High School faculty and  SSG staff so that the maximum participation will be achieved to make this symposium possible.

•       LOVE EXPLOSION is a school-based symposium that will be held at Sillawit National High School for the students, during the 2019 Valentines day celebration at Sillawit National High School gymnasium.

•       The Symposium will not only going to focus on giving definitions about PMS and EP but rather let them engage in a more realistic problem solving through games and activities with regards to PMS and EP.

•      The Symposium will also be needing Speakers who are knowledgeable about PMS and the prevention of EP.

 

What can you do?

•       If you are Sillawit National High School student your presence will be a great contribution on said the symposium.

•       We encourage people who would like to volunteer and help in preparation of the program and also for the restoration of the things used.

•       The estimated budget needed for the Love Explosion Symposium is Php 10,000. This includes the one day snack and materials needed for the activity. Any amount given will be greatly appreciated.
