Milford residents-
The south entryway to our township is about to undergo significant changes that challenge the township master plan and threaten the rural character of the area.
-Crossings of Milford, 35.8 acres as NE corner of Milford Rd. and Pontiac Trail. Rezone from commercial use to allow for 18 apartment buildings with 175 apartment homes and mixed-use commercial (gas station, banks, coffee shops, and restaurants)
-Kensington Ridge by Pulte, 335 acres on the SW corner of Milford Rd. and Maple (gravel pit). Rezone from industrial, shopping center, and multiple family residential to residential planned unit development with 892 houses.
What can you do?
-Go see the full-size site plans at the Milford Civic Center. Must call and make an appointment.
-Virtually attend the township Planning Commission Meeting on Dec 1st at 7:30pm and speak up! Even if your concerns seem redundant to other callers the NUMBER resident concerns will be recoded in opposition.
-Follow the Citizens for the Responsible Growth of Milford Facebook page.
-Sign the petition and let the township officials know that you are against changing the master plan.
