As a concerned community member who graduated from the Milford School District, I am concerned for students' and staff members' safety without a comprehensive mask mandate. The Milford School District has 116 active COVID-19 cases and counting, and there are no mask requirements whatsoever. 

Let’s listen to science and the CDC recommendations and establish required rules to protect our students like mask mandates. It’s easy and it makes sense. 

If we as teachers, students, community members, and parents, work together to ensure physical safety first we will end this pandemic and get to a time with no masks faster and with fewer of us getting sick or risking death.  

By signing this petition, your voice will be heard in support of enforcing mask mandates and other requirements which protect students' and staff members' physical health first. Students must be healthy to learn. Let’s unite to let our school hear our voices! We want the School Board to implement a mask mandate!
