We are trying to have it to where men and women are able to go to each others dorm rooms. Here are some reasons as to why we need co-ed visitation. Some women on campus do hair and maybe half their costumers are men and they must leave their rooms to go into another building to do their hair. Men and women attend classes together and they can be put on a group project and must take time out of their day to find a certain time to meet and find a quiet enough place for them all to meet just to work when they could simply meet in ones room and get their work done. Also, friends should be able to hang out and not only by standing outside to talk or in the cafeteria. Allowing co-ed visitation would give us more face-to-face interactions, possibly improve grades because people can study together without many distracts, those of the opposite sex that is in the LGBTQ community will be able to go to their friends room instead of being told that they cannot just because of the gender on their birth certificate. 

This petition is just the beginning of this goal. We only need these few signatures to show the board of education that this is something that we, the students, really want here at Miles College. So, be a part of the team and sign this petition.
