Milan alexander was incarcerated for distributing illegal drugs and also gun charges by Joplin Missouri police department in Feb of 2023. Milan is an outstanding citizen he has made an impact not only in Joplin Missouri but in Danville Illinois as well. Milan first started his clothing brand in early 2020 and started off with selling tee shirts, and since then has expanded In Two locations one in Danville il, And one in Joplin Missouri. Milan planned and hosted community events for Danville and threw a block party for the kids in the community. Milan invited local businesses as well as other small businesses elsewhere to come together to put a successful event to show the kids there is more to do with life than the negative. The mayor himself spoke and opened up at this event as well. Milan gave away clothes, bookbags with school supplies, food, cotton candy, Snow cones, Milan also had dunk tank basketball contests, jump rope contests, the army had a booth set up there for kids to talk about recruitment, and Milan has since done other things. In Joplin Milan has helped people with jobs in the community working in his clothing store because some people were losing their jobs that had job in the mall due to the mall was closing and losing a lot of business and Milan has brung much traffic back to the mall and had caught attention of the news and the people from 4 states because of the good he was doing. Milan is not at all violent person or a menace to society. Everyone Milan has ever encountered says his heart is gold and he always does thing with the right intentions of being positive. Milan was led down the wrong path at a young age and became accustomed to a certain way of living but since then has strived to become a positive legit businessman. Milan has 8children and very active in their lives. Milan is a full-time dad to 4 that he lives with and he spends most of his time working at his store “Forever Amphibian and the spare time being a family man.  This situation had impacted everyone around him and especially his family and his business. We are trying to do everything in our power to get him home back to his family and his children and to his business which Milan has worked so hard to build from the ground up something that milan has dedicated everything to and is very passionate about and we hope to keep getting bigger and making and impact on the urban community as well as the community as a whole.  So, we are asking if the court find it their hearts to take these things into consideration on giving a lesser sentence and hopefully giving him more house arrest and probation Thank You!
