Mike Wedor joined the SMS team in 2021 as the 6th grade Assistant Principal. He has been an amazing addition the Eagle family! Our current principal recently resigned, and many staff members feel that it would be a natural transition for Mike to move into the position of the Skyview Middle School Principal. He is fair, ethical, and supportive of the staff, students, and community. He displays all the best characteristics that are outlined in the D49 cultural compass. Skyview would be privileged to be led by Mike Wedor!

While we understand that there is a somewhat complicated family situation, we are confident that it will not interfere with Mike’s ability to run the school fairly and efficiently. He and his family member have displayed nothing but the highest level of professionalism during their concurrent time at SMS. The Skyview community should not be denied the best leader for our school, nor should the family member be punished to ensure Mike’s success.
