On October 16th, 2016, Whitney Gray was shot and killed in a road rage incident in Independence, Missouri while driving with her two children (ages 6 months and 3 years) by Christopher P. Taylor, who was convicted on June 13th, 2018 of involuntary manslaughter and armed criminal action. This man could be free walking the street in a few years while Whitney's family has to go the rest of their lives without her. That isn't fair! Especially for her traumatized young boys who won't ever get to see their mother again. Apparently Missouri's judicial system needs to know that there is nothing involuntary about pulling the trigger on a loaded gun aimed at someone, none the less a mother who had her very young children and her teenaged niece in the car. Involuntary manslaughter has a max sentence of 4 years, but armed criminal action has no maximum sentence. The story of Whitney's passing cannot be explained as anything but murder and Christopher Taylor should be punished as a murderer.
