The Issue
Hello,
I own a rather medium-sized entertainment company out of north-east Ohio. I want to voice my situation here. I am out and about all the time and always wear a mask. The people I am around in the bars and restaurants doing Contactless trivia are all wearing a mask! So I really don't see how these numbers are going up, other then the masks are not as effective as we say they are. From my customers, if Dewine shuts down this state again, we will all not be able to re-open again. Yes, the numbers are going up; however, so are the recovery numbers, and the death numbers are looking at a downward trend. I do not get how Dewine can state one week that the bars and restaurants are not the cause of the upward cases, then the very next week, change that! Stating that we only have 1 week to change, this is unbelievable! We all know that this Covid thing can stay dormant for 2 weeks! 2 weeks after Halloween, and election day, of course, the number will go up. But having the solution being bigger then the problem is not the solution! My business is on the brink of going out of business, and if that happens, I do not know what I am going to do because the whole industry will be dead. My life in Ohio will be OVER! Covid is mutating to become less lethal (Numbers prove that), and there is a vaccine on the way. Suicide and Drug abuse are on the rise, and it's all because Dewine instilling fear into people's lives. Not going to lie, I thought about ending my life, but I realized that I would make a different choice.
So I am asking you NOT to let this happen, or the next time I see DeWine's name on the ballot, I will activate a campaign against him and make sure he never get into office again. I know that sounds harsh, but it is time that it is said! We need to learn to live with this thing and not turn it into a bigger problem that will kill Ohio's future! If this shut down happens, there will be nothing left for anyone in Ohio because all jobs will be gone. I already lost $110,000 and can't afford to lose more!
Please help me, help Ohio businesses from being Bulldozed, and closed forever. There has got to be a better way to make everything better!
