Skyline Heights Development Compromise

The Issue

This petition will clearly outline the agreed upon compromise between the city residents and the developer for the approval of the Skyline Heights Development.

  1. The developer is willing in a separate agreement with the City of Corona to provide the city with the funding to prepare a Trails Master Plan.  The funding by the developer for the Trails Master Plan would be required to be guaranteed and deposited with the city prior to the certification of the annexation at the Local Agency Formation Commission.
  2. The developer has agreed to use neutral/natural earth tone colors on the residential rooftops.
  3. The City of Corona has agreed to use a natural earth tone color for the above ground water reservoirs located within the project.
  4. The developer has agreed to eliminate the cul-de-sac near the first lookout point on Skyline Trail in order to provide a greater buffer between the project boundary and trail.
  5. The developer will continue to work with the public, county and city on areas within the project that are planned for open space to see if there is the potential for lookouts and regional trail connections.
  6. The developer has agreed to make future residents aware of the nearby trails via its CC&R's.
