Hi all,

I wanted to tell you all that i have just started a new petition on change.org called MAKE THE ANIMALS IN GREECE SAFE,

Would be very grateful if you would sign this petition as it is just as important as the STRAY DOGS ON MADEIRA petition.

There are many stray cats and dogs in Greece mainly due to the fact that people do not have money to feed them as they to are impoverished, but this is no excuse in itself as they could give them water and shelter from the sun which they don't.!!

Sadly there are very few animal sanctuaries also although there are home made shelters run in out of the way locations by volunteers.

The government in Greece as always sees this as a problem they don't consider important enough to devote time and money to.
