Hi all.

There is not a great deal more i can do at the present time with regards to the stray dogs, just wait and pray that PAN get 2 more seats in the Madeiran Parliament so that they can make a difference in the future both to animals ans also to the environment.

Therefore i thought i would let you know how my latest edition to our dog family is getting on. Carrie is 10 years old and was found as a stray wandering around the Canico area of Madeira. She had heartworm which i am pleased to say she has now overcome this illness and is now quite healthy again apart from an ear infection which she is being treated for

She is a lovely little Pedengo with a lot of character. Luckily, our other rescue dog has accepted her although they are quite different in age, she is 10 years old and he (Pero) is just 5 years old.
