There has also been another  interesting development ( with regards to animal abuse) in schools throughout Portugal thanks to PAN political party who is a party that supports animal welfare issues. 

They have now banned any literature regarding bull-fighting to be distributed in schools. This is also great news and will go a long way towards banning it altogether throughout Portugal in years to come. even though it is no way near as popular in Portugal as it is in Spain!

Incidently, the lawyer that is going to  take this petition to the government for debate is one that works for PAN, which makes the outcome look a bit brighter!
