Hi everyone,

The TV interview and report on this petition was shown on RTP1 Madeira yesterday evening..,

I have also been contacted by a lawyer working for a political party in Portugal  called PAN. They are advocates for animal rights. This lawyer has asked me to join him in the fight to get a free sterilisation programme for the dogs on Madeira.

Unfortunately because of Portuguese endless red tape, the law here requires all petitions to be done by hand on paper and does not accept those from the internet, so now have to consult with the charity on the best way to achieve this. Only 1,500 signatures are required says the Portuguese lawyer. 

What a headache!! but we will get there!!
