Pledging To Be Kind To Migrant Workers!

"Kindness is the light that dissolves all walls between souls, families, and nations." — Paramahansa Yogananda

Migrant workers are an important fabric of our society, they too have built Malaysia with us, by offering their time and skills, and being very far away from home and families— yet, they are faced with prejudice or worse, indifference.

This needs to be changed! That is why we are encouraging people to pledge to be kind to migrant workers, we need to stop living in separate bubbles.

These are some kind gestures that you could do:

  1. Buy an extra breakfast for them
  2. Thank a migrant worker in their mother language
  3. Buy them a refreshing drink
  4. Get to know them

When you've done any of the above and more, feel free to also share them with us on social media as part of our #KindnessWorks campaign!

And if you want to step up your game, spread this message of empathy for migrant workers to your school/college/university/youth group by inviting us for an inspiring team building activity ;)

There are just so many ways to be a part of this movement, one random act of kindness at a time <3

Pledge if you believe migrant workers deserve to be treated equally. Help us reach 2000 pledges!

**This petition is started by the Migration Works campaign, a campaign aimed at promoting positive representation of migrant workers.**
