San Jose school district decided this year not to initiate the Middle college program. The decided on this last year without complying with protocol and informing the parents.The District did not even bother to figure out how many students might be interested in the program or alternatively (if their number is too low to open a class) to transfer the students who are interested in such program inside the county to a school which offers similar program in the high school campus.
Middle college is a great program which offered by school districts all over bay area and enables students to gain credit both for their graduation and future college degree. 
As parents to students in the district who value their education, ask the District's board of education, who are elected by the public to serve it:

to either reinstate the program the sooner the better, offer alternative solution within the district or come to agreement with other Districts to deal with this challenge.  
Transferring the students to other districts is denied by the other districts.
