As I am sure you know of the beloved Minecraft character Steve, I am now noticing that in merchandise for the game his skin tone appears several shades lighter than as seen in the game. This is whitewashing. This is a petition to ask Microsoft who now owns the video game franchise Minecraft to remove the whitewashed merchandise from the shelves and replace it with an accurate representation of the character.
